TGONet-RPi_0xx Standard Configuration

A while ago I was asked about my RaspberryPi setup, so here it is :-).

I like copy-exact setups for HW and IT, avoiding to run into problems when porting from test system to production environment. Actual running 3 systems with this setup: Two in production (e.g running this blog, ownCloud, Pi-Hole and some other stuff). One is dedicated for test and playing around.

Following my standard configuration until now.

Costs as for Nov. 2017:

1) 1x SanDisk Ultra microSDXC 128GB Class 10
      Amazon B010Q57S62 44.00 EUR
2) 1x Raspberry Pi 3 Model B
      Amazon B01CD5VC92 34.38 EUR
3) 1x Icy Box IB-RP101 Cooling Sinks,Silver
      Amazon B06XKJBQRB 15.43 EUR
4) 1x USB: Kingston DTSE9G2 128GB USB 3.0
      Amazon B00U88FV0S 53.18 EUR
5) 1x Wedo 26251526 Key Holder (2 Rings)
      Amazon B0166QAVFU 3.95 EUR
6) 1x USB2.0 Card Reader (writing sdCard)
      Amazon B000IH1W20 6.99 EUR
8) 1x microUSB 5.0V wall plug
9) 1x Ethernet cable

Summary Costs 150.94€ (for ID 1…5), should be now much cheaper due normally falling costs for microSD and USB.

You can use each other type of microSD you want, should be a quick one. Minimum size for DietPi itself is 4GB + your estimated size for data.

The USB and attached key holder are additional, needed for backup and better external storage in my case and i like 5A.

Depending on your backup needs you can add an factor for the size for your USB drive. You also need a 5V wall Plug. Look out for a bundle at Amazon or your local vendor. And don’t forget: For writing the DietPi to the microSD card I use a dedicated adapter for the microSD (ID 6), but you can use every type.

I like the ICY box, they can be stacked and screwed together.
