Iceland Airwaves 2018 – my playlist

Note: This blog post is just meant to be a personal reminder and link list. A better overview about the whole thing look at The Reykjavík Grapevine Magazine and their podcasts (soundcloud link).

List of the acts at Iceland Airwaves 2018 in Reykjavík I visited, some partly due scheduling collisions. I had to move from place to place, even if they were all relatively close to each other. To be on the fair side, that sounds worse than it is, the opposite is true: It’s part of the Airwave attraction and spirit: From small cosy pubs to big locations like the National Theater.

Since I have absolutely no idea of Icelandic music, the list itself was created by chance. I’ve tried, however intentionally not too strict, to deselected everything that I’m not interested in like Hip Hop, R&B and esoteric ethno-folk, based on the descriptions on the website. Sorted the rest according to distances of the locations / mood. Works well enough to get a good schedule. List is sorted by time.
