The Guggenheim Bilbao, designed by the legendary architect Frank Gehry, is a gem in the world of modern art and architecture. Its undulating facade, adorned with shiny titanium plates, creates a visual spectacle for art enthusiasts and architecture aficionados alike. The museum complex comes to life through its seamless blend of architecture and modern art, which stands in stark contrast to the downtown of Bilbao (as a Dresdner, I would love to see a similar contrast in Dresden’s downtown, the baroque “Disneyland” as some of us call this area).
